Hey there- welcome to my about page!
As long as I can remember, I have experienced life most fully through my body. As a young child, I spent most days running barefoot among the luscious grass, in the backcountry of Ohio. I played many sports as a youngster. So it was no surprise that when I stumbled upon yoga in my early 20s, I was naturally drawn to these novel ways of moving my body. I have also always had a strong passion for helping women. Our culture places unrealistic & often unhealthy expectations on woman. I find myself naturally coming alongside the ladies in my life, guiding and encouraging them with practical tips and strategies for uncovering their beauty and strength within . The fusion of these passions led me to create “Injoyoga & Wellness: Helping Women Feel Better in their Bodies”. I believe yoga (physical movement) is one piece of the wellness puzzle. Tending to our Gut (Nutrition), Soul (spiritual connection) and Mind (meditation) all work together to help us feel better in our bodies.
My intention when working with women, whether one-on-one or in groups, is twofold: First, to help women see the beauty & strength within them RIGHT NOW, and second, to come alongside on their journey towards their optimal health by offering self care strategies.
If reading this stirs a desire to feel better in your body, I'd love to grab a cup of coffee/tea/sparkling water and chat!
